* feat: 🧬 Jules02: Synthetic test scenarios — Institutional Flow Generator
Introduces `InstitutionalFlowGenerator` to `src/utils/synthetic_data.py` providing deterministic price sequences for complex market microstructure scenarios:
- `stop_hunting`: Simulates a sharp price dip below support to trigger stops, followed by a rapid reversal.
- `iceberg_absorption`: Simulates price hitting a large hidden limit order, resulting in high-volume consolidation and failed breakout attempts.
- `trend_exhaustion`: Simulates a parabolic blow-off top followed by a sharp collapse.
These scenarios enhance the robustness of testing for components like `RegimeDetector` and `ExecutionFilter` by providing realistic adversarial edge cases.
Includes `tests/test_institutional_scenarios.py` with validation of generated price action and volume profiles.

* 🧬 Jules02: Synthetic test scenarios — MTF consistency and fault injection
This PR enhances the `ScenarioGenerator` to provide more realistic and robust testing data for the trading bot.
Key improvements:
- **Price Continuity:** Refactored base generation to ensure `Open[i] == Close[i-1]`, eliminating unrealistic price jumps in standard regimes.
- **Multi-Timeframe (MTF) Consistency:** Added `generate_multi_timeframe` to create synchronized data across M1, M5, H1, etc., via deterministic resampling.
- **Fault Injection:** Implemented `inject_faults` to simulate operational hazards:
- `stale`: Frozen data feeds.
- `outliers`: Bad ticks/ghost spikes.
- `zero_volume`: Missing volume reporting.
- `gaps`: Weekend/slippage price breaks.
- **Validation:** Added a comprehensive test suite in `tests/test_mtf_synthetic_data.py` and verified no regressions in existing backtest and scenario tests.

* 🧬 Jules02: Synthetic test scenarios — Flash crashes and risk breaches
Harden the repo by adding deterministic synthetic data regimes and risk breach scenarios to improve testing of edge-case market conditions and risk management logic.
What risk or quality gap was found:
The previous synthetic data generator lacked scenarios for extreme market events like flash crashes or regime shifts, and the risk scenario builder did not provide easy ways to test system-wide circuit breakers and daily loss limits.
What was changed:
- Added `flash_crash` and `regime_shift` regimes to `ScenarioGenerator` in `src/utils/synthetic_data.py`.
- Added `daily_loss_breach` and `drawdown_circuit_breaker` methods to `RiskScenarioBuilder` in `src/utils/synthetic_data.py`.
- Updated `tests/test_synthetic_data.py` and `tests/test_risk_scenarios.py` with new test cases for these scenarios.
What was validated:
- Ran `pytest tests/test_synthetic_data.py tests/test_risk_scenarios.py` and verified all 13 tests passed.
- Performed code review and addressed initial failure in `test_flash_crash_regime` by adjusting the crash duration and recovery window.
What remains out of scope:
- Integration of these scenarios into a full CI/CD stress-testing pipeline.
- Real-time simulation of these regimes in a live-like demo environment.
Follow-up recommendation:
Consider using these new scenarios in automated integration tests to ensure that any changes to the risk manager or execution filter do not introduce regressions in handling extreme market events.

* 🧬 Jules02: Synthetic test scenarios — Flash crashes and risk breaches
Harden the repo by adding deterministic synthetic data regimes and risk breach scenarios to improve testing of edge-case market conditions and risk management logic.
What risk or quality gap was found:
- Lack of synthetic data for extreme events (flash crashes, regime shifts).
- Difficulty testing system-wide risk limits (daily loss, circuit breakers) without complex setup.
- Quality issues: Unused loop variables in generators and early package-level imports causing ModuleNotFoundError in limited CI environments.
- Fixed Ruff B007 error in `src/utils/synthetic_data.py`.
- Hardened `src/__init__.py` by removing early sub-package imports to prevent CI failures.
- Updated `docs/testing/SYNTHETIC_DATA.md` to document the new capabilities.
- Added comprehensive tests in `tests/test_synthetic_data.py` and `tests/test_risk_scenarios.py`.
What was validated:
- Local `ruff check` passes.
- All 13 unit tests pass with 100% success rate.
- Manual inspection of `docs/testing/SYNTHETIC_DATA.md`.
What remains out of scope:
- Full E2E integration with external brokers in these regimes.
Follow-up recommendation:
Leverage these deterministic scenarios in future stress-testing pipelines.
