- Obtain approval before merging
Total Effort Estimate:
- Tier 1 (7 repos): 50-60 hours

Code Integration Patterns
Pattern 1: Direct Code Copy (Low Risk)
# Use when: Core algorithm, minimal dependencies
# Example: PPO algorithm from zero-was-here/tradingbot
# Strategy: Copy, remove MT5 hardcoding, add type hints
Pattern 2: Wrapper/Adapter (Medium Risk)
# Use when: Different interface, partial reuse needed
# Example: gym-mtsim environment
# Strategy: Create adapter to match our environment spec
class MT5Environment(gym.Env):
def __init__(self, gym_mtsim_env):
self.env = gym_mtsim_env # Wrap internal env
def step(self, action):
return self.env.step(action) # Delegate with modifications
Pattern 3: Selective Import (Medium-High Risk)
# Use when: Partial functionality needed
# Example: Feature engineering techniques
# Strategy: Study implementation, rewrite for consistency
Pattern 4: Reference Implementation (High Risk)
# Use when: Complex algorithm, full rewrite needed
# Example: If unique RL algorithm
# Strategy: Reference original, implement from scratch
